Acess to schools, hard to get. Informed consent of teachers/students. Hawthorne effect may reduce validit.
How could you research anti-school subcultures and what would be some PET issues of doing so?
Use covert observation to get into the group, gives valid resullts however issues with informed consent, deception and relaiblity for future studies.
What is an ethical issue with carrying out an overt observation of teachers interactions with students in lesson>
Hawthorne effect, as they are being watched may make them act better/nicer to students than they usally are and gives low validity results and not true behaviours.
What are some issues with using Questionares to students about truancy? (staying off school)
May give socially desirable answers and lie about how many days they have been off lowering validity. Vunerable groups as they could be children
