What are the features of acute mesenteric ischaemia?
A
*Abdo pain
>Sudden onset
>Severe out of keeping with physical exam
*Rectal bleeding
*Diarrhoea
*Fever
*Blood show raised WCC and lactic acidosis

What is the cause of acute mesenteric ischaemia?
A
Caused by embolism resulting in occlusion of artery which supplies small bowel (superior mesenteric artery)
Classic Hx of AF
