After take-off and at a safe altitude:
Affected engine:
- ATS DISC…………………………. DEPRESS
- Thrust lever………….. CONFIRM and IDLE
- Thrust lever…. CONFIRM and SHUT OFF
- ENG FIRE……………………………….. PUSH
- BOOST PUMP…………………………… OFF
*If warning persists (after 10 seconds):
- BOTTLE……………………….. DISCHARGE
Push and hold until… light goes out
*If warning persists
(after additional 30 seconds):
- Other BOTTLE………………. DISCHARGE
Push and hold until… light goes out
Engine Fire/Severe Damage
On Ground
- Parking brake…………………………….. SET
Affected engine:
- Thrust lever……………………… SHUT OFF
- ENG FIRE…………………………….. PUSH
- BOOST PUMPs……………….. BOTH OFF
*If warning persists (after 10 seconds):
- BOTTLE 1 and BOTTLE 2.. DISCHARGE
Push and hold until… lights go out.
Double Engine Failure
- CONT IGNITION…………………………… ON
2. Airspeed……………….. 240 KIAS minimum
L(R) Jetpipe OVHT
- (ATS DISC……………………….. DEPRESS)
Affected engine: - Thrust lever……. CONFIRM and RETARD
slowly until message goes out
Post-Shutdown… Tailpipe Fire
Affected engine:
1. Dry motor……….. ACCOMPLISH until ITT
is reduced below 150°C or starter limit
L(R) REV UNLOCKED
Affected engine:
- Thrust lever…………. CONFIRM and IDLE
- (ATS DISC……………………….. DEPRESS)
- THRUST REVERSER…….. EMER STOW
L (R) REV UNLOCKED
*caution message will remain on. - Airspeed ……………… 200 KIAS maximum
ENGINE

until engine responds and
ITT is below limit range
Uncommanded Acceleration

Check engine response
CABIN ALT/Emergency Descent
- Oxygen masks……………………………. DON
Set 100% - Crew communication………….ESTABLISH
- PASS SIGNS……………………………….. ON
- Passenger oxygen………………… DEPLOY
- Descent……………………………….. INITIATE
*to 10,000 feet or lowest safe altitude
whichever is higher
- Thrust levers………………………………. IDLE
- (ATS DISC………………………… DEPRESS)
- FLIGHT SPOILER lever……………….. MAX
Uncommanded Yaw Motion
- Controls………………. ASSUME CONTROL
*and counter aircraft motion using
handwheel inputs
- YAW DAMPER……………… DISCONNECT
APU FIRE
- APU FIRE………………………………… PUSH
After 5 seconds and APU fire warning persists:
- APU BOTTLE…………………..DISCHARGE
and hold until firex bottle light goes out.
Ditching or Forced Landing
- PACKs……………………………………….. OFF
- EMER DEPRESS………………………….. ON
*prior to 200ft AGL
Emergency Evacuation

of condition and intention to evacuate - PACKs……………………………………….. OFF
- EMER DEPRESS………………………… ON

EMER PWR ONLY
- ADG manual deploy handle……. PULL
for at least 1 second, then stow - AC ESS BUS……. CHECK POWERED
When ADG power is established
- STAB TRIM, CH 2……………. ENGAGE
- Engine instruments…………….. VERIFY
N1, N2, & ITT
