OXYGEN MASK —- ON & 100%
CREW COMMUNICATION —- ESTABLISH
EMERGENCY DESCENT —- AS REQUIRED
Cabin or Cockpit Fire/Smoke/Fumes
OXYGEN MASKS —- ON & 100%
SMOKE GOGGLES —- ON
RECIRC —- OFF
CREW COMMUNICATION —- ESTABLISH
Aileron/Roll Trim Runaway
QUICK DISCONNECT button —- PRESS and HOLD
Pitch Trim Runaway
QUICK DISCONNECT button —- PRESS and HOLD
Uncommanded Swerving on Ground
Control the aircraft using differential brakes and rudder
STEERING HANDWHEEL —- DO NOT USE
If unable to control the aircraft, as an additional action:
STEERING DISENGAGE BUTTON —- PRESS
DIFFERENTIAL REVERSE THRUST (if avail.) —- AS REQ
Response to GPWS
“Terrain, Terrain”, “Whoop Whoop Pull-up”, “Too Low Terrain”
AUTOPILOT - DISENGAGE THRUST LEVERS - MAX PITCH - ROTATE TO 20 DEGREES or AS REQ - at rate of approximately 3 degree / sec SPEED BRAKES - CLOSED
Response to GPWS Warning
Immediately and simultaneously:
- AUTOPILOT —- DISENGAGE
- THRUST LEVERS —- MAX
- PITCH —- ROTATE TO 20 degrees OR AS REQ
- If stick shake occurs, stop rotation and use shaker as upper limit - SPEED BRAKES —- CLOSED
Stall Recovery
- Recognize and Confirm
- DISCONNECT —- AP
- PITCH — Reduce AOA
- ROLL - Wings Level
- THRUST - Adjust as needed
- Speed Brake - Retract
- Return to Desired Flightpath
- Retract gear/flaps as required according to appropriate profile
Windshear / Microburst Escape Procedure
PF calls: “ESCAPE”
Simultaneously:
THRUST LEVERS —- MAX
GO AROUND bttns - PRESS
PITCH — ROTATE TO 14 OR FOLLOW FD COMMAND BARS
SPEED BRAKES —- CLOSE
FLIGHT PATH —- CONTROL WITH PITCH AS NECESSARY
