O: pubic tubercle
I: medial lip of linea aspera
A: adduction and flexion of the hip
In: obturator nerve
Adductor Brevis
O: body + inferior ramus of the pubis
I: pectineal line + proximal part of linea aspera
A: adduction and flexion of the hip
In: obturator nerve
Adductor Magnus
O: inferior ramus of the pubis , ramus of ischium , ischial tuberosity
I: linea aspera (anterior fibers) + adductor tubercle of femur (posterior fibers)
A: adduction + flexion of hip (anterior fibers), extension of hip (posterior fibers)
In: obturator nerve (anterior fibers) , sciatic nerve (posterior fibers)
Obturator Externus
O: obturator membrane + bone around obturator foramen on pelvis external surface
I: trochanteric fossa of femur
A: lateral rotation of hip
In: obturator nerve
Gracilis
O: inferior ramus of the pubis + ramus of ischium
I: medial surface - proximal end of the tibia just distal to the medial condyle
A: adduction of the thigh, flexion of the leg, and medial rotation of flexed leg
