We are constantly exposed to images of death, making us used to violence and killing. Then we don’t react the way we should In real life . Children learn from what they see . The more violence viewed the more accepted it is
What is propaganda
Form of communication, often biased or misleading in nature , aimed at influencing and changing attitude of a population toward some cause to form an agreement of a standard set of belief patterns

By presenting facts selectively (lieing by omission)

Makes us laugh at societies prejudice and habitats and become more aware for need of human rights

Preconceived judgements , which are socially learnt . Not based on actual experience . Realized in act of labeling
How can we deconstruct stereotypes
By breaking down generalization of the stereotype by learning more about other people, and the truth beyond preconceived judgements
How can we discuss stereoptypes
Have conversations around the generalizations , open minds to possibility of other truths
How can we educate ourselves on stereotypes
We can teach better ways to our friends , by learning about people different to you. In order to be empathetic, compassionate human beings

The promotion of a product or service
How does advertising help sales
Encourage consumers to beleive they need the product
Companies will pay for wide exposure through mass media
