Globally there are more people being born than dying. This means the worldâs population will continue to rise in the future. The global population is expected to reach 9 billion in 2050.
We think most global population increase will happen in developing countries
E.g why is sub-Saharan Africa expected to have a population increase
-lack of medical conspection
-increase of medical care
-security in old age
What is expected to happen in Europe in MEDCs
The population to stabilise. Even declining in some places. In most of Europe there is already a population decline due to low fertility rates.
The population of MEDCs is expected to remain at 1.2 billion between now and 2050.
Why is it difficult to know how much people Alive today
Itâs difficult to ,now exactly how many people are as there are always dying and being born
What are the problems if the population continues to grow rapidly
There might not be enough food and resources to feed the population
What would be the problem if the population began to decrease rapidly
There wouldnât be enough people to do the jobs
