A

heard over large airways (trachea and larynx) and should be relatively easy to hear (sounds like blowing through a paper towel core)

Vesicular breath sounds

A

May be heard over the smaller airways (bronchioles and alveoli) and are not typically as loud as those heard in the bronchial areas; air filling the smaller, more distal parts of the lungs as compared to the large airways of bronchial breath sounds
