Measurements and making the cast

Ok. Now that we have the evaluation done, I am going to do some measurements of your leg.

I am going to take some measurements of your residual limb at every inch underneath your knee, and I am also going to take some length measurements of the limb as well.

I also need to take some measruements of your good leg so that we know how tall to make the prosthesis and know what size foot to attach to the prosthesis so that your left and right feet are the same size.

Tambien, necesito tomar algunas medidas de su pierna buena, para poder concocer la altura necesaria para la protesis y el taman~o de pie que conectaremos a la protesis, para que su pie derecho este nivelado con su pie izquierdo.

Now that the measurements are done, I am going to take a casting of your residual limb using casting materials so that I can get the shape of your leg in order to make a diagnostic socket to be fitted at the next appointment.
