What is required on a Map?
North arrow, scale bars, copyright acknowledgemet
What scales are required for different types of maps?
Location plan - 1:1250
Site Plan - 1:200
Drawings - 1:50
What are some different sources of maps?
Pro map, land registry, ordnance survey
What is IPMS 1 measure? and how does it differ to GEA?
It measures to external extent of external walls, and measures any external areas. Whereas GEA would exclude such the like as open balconies
What does IPMS 2 measure? and how does it differ to GIA?
Measures to the internal extent of the internal dominant face (IDF) rather than to the internal face of perimeter walls
What does IPMS 3 measure? and how does it differ to NIA?
Measures useable floor area. Again measures up to internal dominant face
