The MDG’s were developed in 200 and were endorsed by 189 countries. Each goal has specific targets to be achieved by 2015. The eight MDG’s aim to reduce poverty, hunger and disease, and address lack of shelter and access to healthcare while promoting gender equality, health, education and environmental sustainability.
