We’ve developed a solution that allows us to continue blending and serving the McFlurry that our customer’s love, but with less plastic for the environment.

What is the solution?

• A new blending procedure that uses reusable spindle.

• A new cup to use.

For now, it will be in the Airport only due to supplier capacity.

How many spindles do I need?

Answer 3

• Low Volume : Minimum of 12 ( 6 in the counter and 6 standby for ready to use)
• High Volume : Minimum of 24 ( 12 in the counter and 12 standby for ready to use)

How many times can I use the spindle?

Only one-time.

Clean spindle should be used for each McFlurry to avoid cross contamination or allergen concerns.

Ensure spindles are not thrown away or given to the customer.

Where do the used spindles go after use?

Used/soiled spindles should be placed in a container filled with water.

How do I keep the spindles clean?

Food safety recommends between 4 hours (4 hours is the maximum.)

Can I use one spindle for more than 2 orders?

If the flavor is the same , yes you can, to save service time.

However, if the flavor is different, then we should change the spindle to prevent flavor cross taste.

What are the needed items?

Empty Container : To place the USED Spindle. This container
should be filled with water to loosen the McFlurry residue.

Condiments Container : To place the clean and ready to use
spindles
