- tongue swelling, drooling, difficulty swallowing

do not touch root, hold by crown within 6 hours

A
-unilateral (one side_ facial paralysis d/t cranial nerve VII (7) facial inflammation
- tears, drooling, facial drooping, increased sensitivity to sound

trigeminal neuralgia
A
compression of cranial nerve V (5) from tumor or trauma
sudden unilateral severe stabbing pain with facial twitching provoked by brushing teeth
treat with tegretol, phenytoin, or valproic acid
