There are alternatives such as hospices and drugs. Euthanasia is a slippery slope - old people may feel under pressure. Don't play God.

Her husband died of a degenerative disease and she later developed one herself. She was unable to go to the toilet by herself, eat drink or swallow so decided she wanted to die so travelled to Switzerland with her children and a doctor gave her a lethal drink which she drank and died minutes later.

He had a rare brain disease which caused him to be bed-ridden, unable to speak and fed through a tube; his wife becoming his full time carer. However, it became too dangerous to feed him through a tube and he died in the company of his loved ones.

It is murder and the Bible says do not commit murder". Life is a gift from God (sanctity of life). "Morally, this is a crime" Pope Paul VI. Christ suffered on the cross, therefore we must accept suffering.
