23
Q

What is a chemical property?

A

A chemical property describes a substance based on its ability to change into a new substance with different properties.
> it can’t be observed by looking at or touching a substance. You have to try to change it into another substance, but, like physical properties, chemical properties help to identify a substance.
Ex: flammable - ability to burn, reactivity - with water, oxygen, or other elements
