What position should the woman be put in to do CPR after 20 wks?
After how many minutes of CPR should a LSCS be done?
Why is the LSCS done?
Why should they also be checked vaginally?
A
Left lateral position (place a wedge under the woman)
5 minutes - if not return of spontaneous circulation
This is to save the mother, not the baby.
Haemorrhage is a common cause of collapse so should be checked vaginally for bleeding.

Why should you think about the drugs they were on?
A
They could have overdosed on drugs used to maintain circulation or thin the blood (e.g. aspirin = haemorrhaging)
