Diagnosis
Obvious sign is the cord being seen!
Sometimes the cord is not seen. What could fetal signs may you see?
A
The obvious cord is seen
CTG:
Fetal bradycardia
Variable fetal heart decelerations

Management:
1st apply pressure to head to prevent compression of cord
2nd manoeuvre for mother?
Why can the bladder be filled with saline?
Definitive management
Why is tocolysis (terbutaline) done?
A
Knee-to-chest position so that bottom is higher than head - she can also be on her knees
Reduces contractions and helps bradycardia
