Wyatt’s Rebellion 1554
A
- Rebellion to the marriage of Mary I and Phillip of Spain.
- English people felt alienated by Spaniards
- Wyatt emphasized their fear of Spaniards, saying they’d steal everything
- Raised around 4,000 men.
- Norfolk’s troops deserted to his cause.
