1) exploiting the proletariat drives them to poverty, so crime is a means of surviving
2) capitalism pushes consumer goods at people, so utilitarian crimes are committed like theft
3) inequality causes frustration so violent crimes could be committed
4) capitalism causes crime within capitalists, they become greedy to make profit so commit corporate crimes like tax evasion

Law is enforced against the working classes but not upper classes
What is an example of selective law enforcement
Corporate crimes are punished less severely on average , usually only fines not jail
