  3. Mashing - malting, mash tun, providing a fermentable extract
  4. Fermenting - adding yeast
  5. Distillation - low alcoholic bev by fermentation into a concentrated distilled spirit through heat and collection of ethyl alcohol vapors
  6. Maturation - aging in wooden casks: Extraction, Degradation or Hydrolysis, Oxidation
  7. Bottling - aging stops
