Q

Soft Field Takeoff

A

Before runway:
-flaps 10
-yoke full back

Runway:
Do not brake
Yoke full back
Throttle slowly full
Rotate at minimum lift speed
Let yoke go forward, maintain back pressure
Stay in ground effect, push yoke forward
Accelerate to Vx
Once clear of 50’ obstacle climb out at Vy, retract flaps
