- functional -> department based functions; centralised; specialised expertise -> efficient, communication barriers, difficult to coordinate

  • divisional - organised by products, key functions in each division, decentralised -> quicker, accountability, competition among divisions

matrix - combination, dual lines of authority -> efficient, flexible, cross-functional, frustration, conflict potential
