What is a manager?
A manager is someone who uses financial, physical, human resources in order to achieve their goals. A manager focuses on organising tasks, making sure goals are met and keeping everything running smoothly.
What is a leader?
A leader is someone who motivates and inspires others to work towards a shared vision or goal. A leader focuses on building relationships, encouraging teamwork and guiding others to success.
What are the functions of management?
Planning, Organising, Co-ordinating, Controlling, Monitoring and delegating

Engerising, inspiring, influencing stakeholders, envisioning and determining the best path
What is a charismatic leadership style?
A charismatic leader is a leader who uses charm, confidence and communication to inspire their employees. They’re persuasive, passionate and tend to be good speakers.
What is a paternalistic leadership style?
This is a leader who takes on a parental like figured for their employees by making decisions for the employees and prioritising their well being.
What is a autocratic leader?
An autocratic leader is someone who makes all the decision making with little to no consultation with their team(s). They expect their demands to be followed without question and have total authority.
What is a democratic leader like?
A democratic leader encourages freedom and discussion this is done by involving their team members in and valuing their input and decisions.
What is laissez-faire leadership?
A laissez-faire leader is someone who allows their employees to have freedom and make their own decisions with minimal guidance. They focus on encourage and motivation rather than giving their own input.
What is transactional leadership?
A transactional leader is someone who sets out clear goals and objectives. This leader rewards and punishes their team member based on missed or met targets.
What is transformational leadership?
A transformational leader is someone who focuses on inspiration and their vision. They aim to give employees motivation by focusing on personal growth. They value trust rather than control.

Organising means arranging resources, tasks, and responsibilities to ensure the plan can be carried out effectively and efficiently.
