A
Mammals give birth to live young, have the ability to produce milk to feed young, and have hair or fur.

A
Autotrophs produce their own energy.

A
Heterotrophs consume energy from others.

What is a herbivore?
A
Herbivores eat plants and therefore consume a lot of cellulose, a carbohydrate that forms the plant’s cell wall.

Carnivores catch live prey for food (meat eaters) and their gut produces all the enzymes needed for the digestion of meat.
