Q

Osteosarcoma- age, pain, location, border/matrix/soft tis, prog

A

age-15-24

pain- insideous, intermittent pain+swell

loc- cortex + medulllary cavity of long bone (central mc)

Imaging
- lucid but could be unorganized sclerotic, ill defined margins w cortical destruction.
-Soft tissue mass (cumolus cloud), laminated/spiculated pareosteal
Prog- risk of metastiss

Q

Pareosteal osteosarcoma- age, loc, pain, matrix/boder

A

30-40

Loc- metaphysis (cortex)

Pain- dull, intermittent pain

Imaging- extraossseous mass connected to parent bone by stalk, Scelrotic (in middle)

Q

Chondrosarcoma- age, pain, loc, border/matrix

A

age- 40-60
Pain- dull, aching + some swelling
loc- metaphysis of long bone/pelvis/spine

Imaging- ill defined lucent w/ calcifications (rings + arcs), maybe some pareosteal rxn

Q

Pleomorphic Undifferentiated sarcoms (PUS)- age, pain, border/matrix

A

Age- 30-50

pain- Pain and alot of swelling compared to others

imaging- lytic lesion w poorly definied margins, expansile and detroys cortex. Pareosteal rxn rare

Q

Multiple myeloma- age, loc, Imaging findings (normal, spine, skull)

A

Age- 50-70

Loc- diaphysis of long bone, bery body (ant), can be multiples

Imaging- punched out lytic lesions to osteopendia
(in spine will appear as collapsed vert, skull will have punched out lesions)

Q

Ewings sarcoma- age, pain, loc, border/matrix/rxn

A

Age- 10-25

pain- local pain + soft tissue mass

location- diaphyseal (kinda on cortex)

Imaging- ill defined margins w. lucent permiative destruction w/ cortical saucerization
-laminated pareosteal rxn
