What are signs and symptoms of lung cancer?
Shortness of breath Cough Haemoptysis (coughing up blood) Finger clubbing Recurrent pneumonia Weight loss Lymphadenopathy – often supraclavicular nodes are the first to be found on examination
What are CXR signs of cancer?
Hilar enlargement
“Peripheral opacity” – a visible lesion in the lung field
Pleural effusion – usually unilateral in cancer

What is Lambert Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome?
antibodies produced against SCLC cells that leads of proximal muscle weakness and intraocular muscles (diplopia), ptosis, slurred speech and dysphasia. Weakness gets worse the longer muscles are used.
