A

Mantoux doesnt pick up miliary TB or TB in immunocompromised and flase positive in BCG
ELISA used

How is TB treated?

A

Isoniazid and Rifampicin for 4 months (12 in CNS disease)
Pyrazinamide and Ethambutol for 2 months
If resistant add aminoglycoside

A

Peripheral neuropathy (Pyridoxine to treat!)
Psychosis
