The testes produce sperm and testosterone
What is the function of the epididymis?
Stores sperm produced by testes
What is the function of the Vas Deferens?
Narrow tube which transports sperm from testes
What is the function of the Seminal Vessicles?
Small, pouch-like tubes which the sperm pass and gain sugar-rich fluid from (making semen)
What is the function of the Prostate Gland?
Gives sperm protective fluid to survive in the uterus (contribute to semen production)
What is the function of the Cowper’s/Cowpus Gland?
Secrete fluid which neutralizes vaginal acidity and lubricates urethra
What are the Ejaculatory Ducts?
The pathway created by the vas deferens and seminal vesicles
Are antibiotics effective against HIV? Why or why not?
No, they are not, because HIV is a virus and antibiotics work against bacteria
