- Coeliac
- Chronic pancreatitis
- Crohn’s disease

What are the symptoms of malabsorption?
A
Diarrhoea, weight loss, lethargy, steatorrhoea, bloating.

What are the signs of malabsorption?
A
Anaemia, bleeding disorders (low vitamin K), oedema (low protein), metabolic bones disease, neuropathy.

How is suspected malabsorption investigated?
A
- FBC - low Hb
- Low - calcium, iron, B12, folate, ferritin
- Raised INR/PT
- Coeliac screen
