Fever, malaise, anorexia, weight loss, RUQ pain, heard and irregular hepatomegaly, jaundice, ascites.

How is a suspected liver tumour investigated?

A
  1. FBC, clotting, glucose, LFTs, albumin, AFP
  2. USS/CT to identify and guide biopsy
  3. ERCP if suspect cholangiocarcinoma
  4. If lesion is metastatic, find primary.

HBV - worldwide

What is the treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma?

A

Resect solid tumours but many reoccur, consider liver transplant.

A

Haemangiomas (no investigation/treatment needed)
