A

Involved at both the project and team level (bridge)

Responsible for business and technical elements

Important to note that this role can assist in the conversation between the two teams but should never be a replacement for any roles.

A

Focuses on the working environment so that the solution can evolve (collaboration and support)

Involved in coordinating the higher level management aspects of the project

Responsible for the business and technical aspects of the project

Management style should be:

Providing high-level Agile style leadership to the SDT

Adopt facilitative and empowering style of leadership to the SDT, but leave them to do the planning

A

Held by a single person

Actively involved in providing a clear vision and strategic direction

Interprets and communicates business needs of the business sponsor and ensure these are represented in the business case

A

A

Often fulfils another SDT role aswell

Could be:

  • The intended user
  • Beneficiary of the solution
  • Someone who provides legal or regulatory advice for compliance

A

Responsible for planning, organising and managing workshop process

Independent of workshop outcome

Roles and Responsibility Tips

A

Good business Ambassador as their input drives out a good solution

Ensure other roles have confidence in the business ambassador

Have only one sponsor and one business visionary

Use the DSDM team model with the names fulfilling corresponding roles.

Consider combining business analyst role with the Team leader role
