Q

Burkitt’s Lymphoma

A

Very Agressive
Fast-growing
T(8,14) translocation
C-myc over expression

“Starry-sky” appearance

All treated with Rituximab (anti-CD20)

Endemic: Equatorial Africa, EBV-associated, “jaw involvement” and abdominal masses

Sporadic: EBV-associated, jaw less likely

Immunodeficiency: Non-EBV associated, post-transplant, HIV
