Where does the air that you breathe in go through?
A
the trachea, then it splits into two tubes called bronchi which splits into smaller tubes called bronchioles then finally ends at alveoli.

What do alveoli do?
A
carry out gas exchange.

What are the materials being exchanged in the alveoli?
A
oxygen diffuses from alveoli to the blood in the capillaries.
carbon dioxide diffuses out of the blood into the alveoli.

Where is the oxygen taken to once diffused into the bloodstream?
A
to the body cells where the oxygen is released and carbon dioxide is diffused out of the body cells simultaneously and carried back to the lungs.
