LU-1 location
In the space medial to the greater tubercle of the humerus (when standing) in the superficial pectoral muscle at the level of the 1st intercostal space
Lateral to jugular groove
LU-1 indications
Front-mu alarm point for lung
Immune regulation
Lung heat

Dyspnea
LU-5 location
On the medial side of the cubital crease, just lateral to the tendon of the biceps brachii muscle with the elbow flexed (medial depression)

LU-7 location
Just proximal to the the styloid process of the radius. 1.5 cun proximal to the radiocarpal joint
LU-7 indications
Luo-connecting point to LI (LI-6)
Confluent point of CV (Ren Mai) Channel
Master point for head and neck
LU-9 location
On the medial aspect of the radiocarpal joint, just cranial to the radial artery
Follow LU-7 around styloid distal to LU-9
At the level of HT-7
This point is needled from the dorsal aspect of the limb
(flex carpus - actual joint)

- *Influential point for blood vessels**

LI-4 location
Between the 2nd and 3rd metacarpal bones, at the midpoint of the 3rd metacarpal bone on the medial side (level of the dewclaw)
Cats: have a movable 1st digit, located at the midpoint of the 2nd metacarpal bone on the medial side

“Four gates” with LIV-3

- *Master point for face and mouth**

LI-10 location
2 cun distal to LI-11 between the extensor carpi radials and the common digital extensor muscles
LI-10 indications
- *Elbow pain**
- *Thoracic limb and pelvic limb weakness**

LI-11 location
At the lateral end of the cubital crease,
between the biceps tendon and the lateral epicondyle of the humerus when the elbow is flexed

He-sea point (earth)
Mother point for deficiency
Clears heat with LI-4 and GV-14!!!
