Lower Limb and Pelvic Flashcards
What is superimposition?
structures and their densities overlap on a radiograph
How many bones make up one coxal bone?
3 bones fused together, the ilium, ischium and pubis
What is the ilium made up of?
ala, iliac crest, greater sciatic notch, arcuate line, articular surface
What is the ischium made up of?
ischial spine, lesser sciatic notch, ischial tuberosity and ramus
