• IV/IO: 1mg
  
  • Dose may be repeated once after 5 minutes if still seizing
  • Contact Base for more than 2 doses

Sedation of severely agitated or combative patient:

• IV/IN/IM: 2 mg
  
  • Dose may be repeated once after 5 minutes if still seizing
  • Contact base for more than 2 doses, unless EXD present, in which case 3 doses may be given standing order to rapidly sedate pt

• IN/IM: 0.1 mg/kg
  
  • Dose may be repeated once after 5 minutes if still seizing
  • Contact Base for more than 2 doses

Sedation of severely agitated or combative patient:
