My last Duchess- both show the oppression caused by power corrupt humanity. In London it is from an outside view, so the exploitation is explored to its depth, yet in Duchess, it’s the POV of the oppressor, so we also get how the view of how power corruption twists the oppressors-
(???who values no one-not even those close to him, while the authority in London are distanced from those suffering ???)
