Remember that you don’t need any additional knowledge to answer Verbal Reasoning questions. Make sure your answers are based only on the information that’s been given
Always read the question first, so you’ll know where to focus when you scan the text. If you miss this step, you may find yourself wasting time by reading the whole passage of text when you didn’t really need to.

Pick the keywords
Find the keywords in the passage and focus on reading that part with the keywords to solve the question
If a statement is false then there is evidence in the passage that contradicts the statement in the question
Example if the question says all swans are white but in. The passage there’s a statement that says there is such a think as a black swan then the statement in the question is false
