The aim of the study was to carry out two experiments to test the effects of language on memory.

What was the conclusion of the study?
The questions asked about the event cause a reconstruction of the memory of the event.The verb used in the ques can alter this reconstruction.
What was some of the studies weaknesses?
It has low ecological validity,was not ethnocentric.

It was high design validity and could be easily replicated. And has high reliability.

They showed 45 participants seven film segments for evergreen safety council of car crashes and where told to estimate the speeds.

They showed 150 participants one of the several film segments then asked them to fill in a questionnaire about if there was glass and the speed.Each participant was given one of 5 different verbs in the question
