149 under graduate students(originally 160)
What was the aim of the study?
To replicate milgrams study but in a far more ethical manner.
How was it carried out?
It was carried out by having participants brought into a room where a highly unethical study about sensory deprivation was explained to them before they where asked to recommend fellow students to take part in it after being given 3 minutes to think about it.
They where then taken into another room and left in another room for 7 minutes to either recommend the study,do nothing,or report the study.

Obedient:3.6% (Fellow students:18.8)
Disobedient:31.9%(Fellow students:43.9)
Whistle Blower:64.5%(Fellow students:37.3)
What where the actual results?
Obedient:76.5%
Disobedient:14.1%
Whistle Blower:9.4%
What was the conclusion of the study?
Behaving in a moral manner is challenging to people,even when this reaction appears to be the simplest path to observers.
What problems does the study have with Validity?
It might not have been measuring obedience,as some participants may have actually supported the study.
Was the study ethical?
It remained within ethical guidelines (it gave the participants confidentiality and consent) but it does deceive the participants and lie to them about the aim of the study
