  • Animals do not make their own food.They get their food by eating plants and other animals.
  • Plants make their own food.The way in which they make it is called photosynthesis.To make food they need a green dye called chlorophyll.This is why plants are green.

  • Animals cells do not have a cell wall around them.They have a cell membrane this is much thinner and weaker than plants cells
  • Plant cells have cell walls.They are found outside the cell membrane.Cell walls mean that the plant cells are stronger than animal cells.
