The renal arteries carry blood into the kidneys. The blood and the renal arteries contains Excess water and salt along with urea

The lungs excrete carbon dioxide and water vapour.These wastes are produced by respiration in all living cells of the body.

How does the kidneys filtrate
- Blood enters each kidney through the renal artery
- In the kindey, waste substances are removed from the body by filtration
- The main wastes are water, salts and urea.The salts and urea disslove in the water to form urine
- Urine is made in the kidneys
- Urine passes from the kidneys,through the ureters to the bladder.
- The blood that leaves the kindeys in the renal veins does not contain waste material

- The skin excretes water and salts.The waste water and salts form sweats.
- The water and salts that form sweat are carrried to the skin by blood vessels
- As well as removing waste materials from the body, sweat also helps to cool the body when it evaporates
