Q

Differences between plant and animal cells

A
Plant cells:
Chrloroplasts (autotrophic)
Large central vacuole
Cell wall
Food reserve is: starchgranules
Animal
Heterotrophic
Irregular shape
No cell wall

Q

Division of labour : unicellular and multicellular

A

Q

Give advantages of multi cellular organisms over unicellular ones

A
  1. Division of labour can be performed, more complex activities can be carried out in an efficient way.
  2. In a multicellular organism, of one cell dies, it is quickly replaced. In unicellular orgasnisms, of the cell dies, the whole organism dies.
