LIT4 - Tempest - Miranda and a bit of Ferdinand - quote bank Flashcards
Describe Miranda’s general presentation throughout the play:
-Miranda is presented as the epitome of goodness, and is a loving daughter of Prospero, contrasting most of the other characters in the play
-she shows qualities that emphasise her intense compassion for other characters, and even stands up in the face of her father to express her love for F.
-regardless of her strength and independence, she is clearly portrayed to be an object in a political marriage
