Start Oil Px (9) for RGB & P/S
Positive oil px by 35% rpm
(9) Max allowable fluctuation at 100%rpm provided px remains within limits is + or - 5psi for P/S and + or - 20 for RGB
Start oil temp minimum
- 40C
(6) : if L7808 is used -54C is the lower limit ; if L23699 oil is used -40C is the lower limit; when ambient tem below 0C, ref starting engines paragraph 18.3.2
Low rpm (2)(7) TIT range
410-730C (12)
(12): Max TIT in low rpm shall be limited to 730 degrees C regardless of power lever position, accessory loading, or use of diffuser bleed air to ensure adequate cooling airflow to the turbine.
(2) use of power between GND Start and MAX Reverse in low rpm can cause engine rpm to decay. Contributing causes to higher ambient temp, field elevation, airspeed, accessory load, end bleed are effects on the power available at low rpm. If rpm begins to decay, advance the power lever. If rpm decay continues, shut down the engine
(7) acceleration time from start of rotation to low rpm should not exceed 60secs.
Low rpm RPM range
71.0-73.8%
Low rpm Max oil px RGB
250psi, except start and warmup: 50 psi
Low rpm oil px P/S
100psi Start and Warmup only, then 50-60psi
(4) if px is below 50psi at low rpm, condition is acceptable provided px is within limits at 100%rpm
Low rpm oil temp range
90C (5) Max
-40C (6) Min
Range: 60 to 90C
(5): 100C is Max allowed for 30mins in beta range and 5mins in alpha range then 90C is max
(6): if L7808 is used -54C is the lower limit ; if L23699 oil is used -40C is the lower limit; when ambient tem below 0C, ref starting engines paragraph 18.3.2
Low rpm Indicated HP
Minimum until oil temp is above 0C

445-645C
Normal RPM (start position) RPM range
96.3-99.1
Normal RPM (start position) oil px RGB
250psi except start and warmup 150
(3): operation below 150psi when rpm is below 100% is permitted. If RGB px is between 130-150psi at 100% rpm, record and continue. Maintenance action shall be accomplished prior to next flight.
