Updated 6-3-20 Engine Limit Display Markings = Max. and min. limits? = Cautionary range? = Normal operating range?
= Max. and min. limits = red line
= Caution range = amber arc
= Normal operating range = white arc

Engine Ignition
Engine Ignition must be used for:
= (4) + ENGINE START Switches positions
-> Takeoff (Auto or CONT)
-> Landing (Auto or CONT)
-> Anti-ice (Auto or CONT)
-> Ops. in heavy rain (CONT)
Note: there are 4 different positions of the Engine Start Switches = from left to right = GRD, AUTO, CONT, FLT

EEC (Electronic Engine Control)
(4) conditions for takeoff w/EECs manually selected in Alternate mode:
- > Both EECs must be in Alternate mode (EEC switches located on aft overhead panel)
- > (B737-NG) 26K max (27K max, if planned) takeoff thrust must be used & (B737-MAX 8) TO takeoff thrust must be used
- > Do not use the FMC takeoff N1 or QRH V-Speeds
- > Use of autothrottle for takeoff is prohibited
Updated 6-3-20 27K Bump (B737-NG) = who authorizes & when can we select ? = can we select or req. through ACARS ? = is KSNA ops. part of this limitation ?
= authorized by dispatch and select only if specified on the Load Agent generated TPS
= No…if TPS is based on any other thrust rating
= KSNA is not part of this limitation

Reverse Thrust
-> Use for ground ops. only?…Yes / No
-> Can we use reverse thrust in flight intentionally?
-> Is backing the A/C w/the reverse thrust prohibited?
-> Do or Do not attempt go-around after thrust reverser deployment on ldg.?
- > Yes…Use for ground ops. only.
- > Intentional selection = prohibited
- > Backing the A/C w/the reverse thrust is prohibited
- > Do not attempt go-around after thrust reverser deployment on ldg.
