Icing Conditions
Icing def. = Ground
= Inflight
Ground = OAT 10C (50F) or below & Visible moisture…
Inflight = TAT 10C (50F) or below & Visible moisture…
Visible moisture in any form is present (clouds, fog w/visibility of 1 mile or less, rain, snow, sleet and ice crystals). Remember “CFR2SIC”

Icing def. = when operating on ramps, taxiways, or runways (4+2)
(ss/i/sw/s) surface snow, ice, standing water, or slush = may be ingested by the engines, or freeze on the engines or nacelles

when icing conditions exist or anticipated, except during climb and cruise when temp. is below -40C SAT. (Colder than -40C).
