- Lignocaine may cause or exacerbate ventricular dysrhythmias
- In high doses may cause Neurological effects (drowsiness, disorientation, agitation, muscle twitching, fits and coma) or Cardiac effects (hypotension, bradycardia, heart blocks, and asystole

Allergy or hypersensitivity

- Lignocaine 2% - 100mg in 5mL
- Lignocaine 1% - 20mg in 2mL

Lignocaine Use
A
- VF or pulseless VT
- Torsades de Pointes
- Local anaesthetic prior to cannulation
- Post intraosseous procedure pain
