-every person on earth has a similar
personal place in the universe and must be given the same respect

-We will seek to honor, rather than demean, those we serve.
What is Community? (in regards to service)
-an interacting body of individuals with common characteristics or interests.
-we need to be a part of those we serve, rather
than staying apart from those we serve.
What is Concern? (in regards to service )
-regard for someone else that engages our close attention, deep interest, or signifi-
cant care.
- make sure truly itβs fulfilling a need of those we serve rather than just addressing problems that bother us.
Why are understanding and experiencing concern very important to the discovery of a Life Calling?
Because every Life Calling includes a significant component of concern; it forms the drawing power that ππgives Life Calling its calling aspect.
What is a pseudo calling?
A pursuit of selfishness.
What is the antithesis of a Life Calling?
Selfishness
What is Responsibility? (in regards to service)
- a sense of obligation, and this social force will demand courses of action.
- It can be ignored, but it cannot be avoided.
- How we respond will determine at what level service is realized in our life and whether or not we will truly experience the drawing force of a Life Calling.

What is servitude?
When we are forced to serve others, we comply with our bodies, but our minds and spirits resist.
- Basically you are doing it but deep inside you know you rather not be doing it

Force- Serving another person involuntarily (body)
Duty- Serving another person out of a sense of duty or obligation (mind)
Heart- Serving another person from an attitude that is always present (spirit)
What is necessary for serving to reach the highest level where it is an integral part of our character?
it must develop to the point where it is ongoing,
continuous attitude within us to serve whenever we detect a legitimate need.

Love acted out continually in lifeβs relationships in a way that places the needs of others before oneβs own self interests.
