Violaceous (pink/purple) flat topped shiny papules
Volar wrists/forarms, shins and ankles
–> Intensely itchy

Wickham’s striae
–> fine LACE-like pattern inside mouth and on surface of papules

What is the clinical course of lichen planus?
A
Usually lasts 12-18 months before burning out

A
Check for possible drug precipitant Emollients Topical steroids (potent/very potent) Oral steroids if extensive UVB phototherapy or PUVA
